Service Opportunity - Sidewalk Chalk Art Inspiration June 1, 2020
“The Sidewalk Chalk Art event was brought up in a meeting we had with our LTG, Minie Chauhan. Taking a moment to go outside and draw or write encouraging things for people who are having a difficult time right now sounded like an awesome service event to us. This is an ongoing event throughout the summer and the rest of quarantine that not only encourages passersby to stay positive, but it also inspires the members who work to send out this message. Positivity and love are extremely important right now, especially with the hectic mess that 2020 had to offer us. If you would like to participate in this event, take a picture of your chalky masterpiece and email it to our secretary/president accounts(centennialkc.secretary@gmail.com or centennialkc.president@gmail.com)! Join us in some summer fun and spread some love!” - Emiri Handa, Key Club President
June DCM June 3, 2020
“The June DCM was pretty fun and interesting. We learned about Key Club’s preferred charities, such as Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, March of Dimes, and UNICEF. Afterwards, we played a Kahoot to test our knowledge regarding these charities. Our advisor, Ms. Willis, was also announced as Advisor of the Month during the DCM, and we’re all very proud of her.” - Sophia Sanalila, Key Club Bulletin Editor
